ABOUT
The Sindhi Association of New Jersey (SANJ) was formed by a group of friends in 1985. Their mission was to promote Sindhi traditions and social development among Sindhi families.
Since 1985, SANJ has been celebrating Indian festivals like Diwali and Chetti-Chand (Hindu New Year). SANJ also organizes an Annual Picnic, Satya Narayan Pooja and Youth programs to promote Sindhi culture and heritage.
SANJ is registered as a non-profit organization and aims to foster friendship among other Sindhi organizations.
MISSION
- Promote Sindhi Hindu culture & traditions and with an emphasis on promoting Sindhi language among members of the Sindhi community.
- Encourage social interactions among the Sindhi community.
- Foster harmony between Indian and Non-Indian communities in New Jersey.
- Promote interactions with Sindhis throughout North America and other parts of the world.
- Support worthwhile charitable causes.
